Pump and Motor Adapters

Pump/Motor adapters provide an innovative method to ensure positive shaft alignment while also performing the function of a coupling guard.

One end of the adapter is designed to bolt to the pump body and the other to the motor.  The adapter slips over the shaft coupling mounted to both the pump and motor shaft with the coupling sleeve locking the shafts together.

In some cases, as illustrated above, both the pump and motor are mounted to a baseplate.  Sometimes due to the difference in motor and pump size the pump "hangs" from the motor via the adapter.  Likewise low pressure systems using small motors will sometimes "hang" from the adapter and the pump will be mounted to the baseplate.

The robust design of the pump/motor adapter is designed to provide rigid support and maintain proper shaft alignment.
